Bad traders

...i take bank transfer only, no paypal...

extract from the t&c for classifieds:
"paypal transactions must include buyer protection (sellers are not allowed to demand that money be sent as a "gift" as this deprives the buyer of any form of protection on their payment)."

only paypal is specified, however the clear intent is to ensure buyers are protected, so perhaps it should be amended to state that "paypal (goods) *must *be offered as a method of payment even if other methods are accepted".

Although it is this advert that has raised my question, i have no reason to doubt the honesty of this particular seller.

The increasingly international scope of forum 6 does, i think, mean that this is something that should be considered, even if paypal (goods) doesn't offer watertight cover.
