I cant remember the last time I bought a ticket from someone other than from that person they put inside those machines to post them out of the slot when I want to pay the £80 fine to leave London for somewhere 10 miles away.
People only queue up to ask what ticket they need because we Brits love queueing, right? I mean, you wouldn't look at the internet for help in advance when you can wait longer for the same information later? Especially when its really close to when the train you dont know about is leaving. Tourists just join in because that's the main reason they come to the UK, as advertised in the brochure.
