That's an odd one. A bit like West Brom sacking Clarke I suppose, they had been doing pretty badly but their struggles were slipping under the radar a bit. Maybe because, like West Brom, when they were doing well a lot of people saw it as overachievement whereas fans and owners see it as a marker of what is possible.
