We just put my forks in a jig (finally) as I've felt the bike was weird for a while now (hence all of the cockpit changes).
I wasn't imagining it. They have bent. I have -7mm rake on my 0 rake forks.
Now, forks are expensive and Ryan is pretty busy. Meaning a long wait I guess.
I am ordering new forks. No question. But in the meantime....
Can I run my forks backwards? +7mm rake. The only thing stopping me from running the bike like this is the fact that other than being on the 'wrong' side, the brake will be backwards, the caliper will take force in a different direction, as will the caliper mount (both the adaptor, and the brazing on the fork).
Is this likely to be an issue? It's my only brake. I'd rather not find out at the cost of teeth/collarbone/someones expensive car.
