• Calling myself out. Turning into Regents Park outer circle from Camden this morning. Waiting at the T junction, lights at the pedestrian crossing to the right on red, with traffic and cyclists stopped. Look left to check it was clear and pull out. In the mean time a RLJr must have gone through the crossing, as I nearly hit him as I pull out. I should have checked to my right again, but also calling out the RLJr... I made the classic mistake of assuming other people stick to road rules

Calling myself and another cyclist out.
Turning into Regents Park outer circle from Camden this morning. Waiting at the T junction, lights at the pedestrian crossing to the right on red, with traffic and cyclists stopped so assumed was all clear. Look left to check it was clear and pull out. In the mean time a RLJr must have gone through the crossing, as I nearly hit him as I pull out. He shouts out something along the lines of what are you doing, I feebly respond with sorry, followed by pointing out that he RLJd. I should have checked to my right again and made the classic mistake of assuming other people stick to the rules.
