You could just take them to a builder and get them drilled....
Would prefer getting a pair of 1" forks to maybe keep for a possible build . Plus I spoke to Chas Roberts cycles and estimated a drilling of the forks would cost about £25-£30.
why not just keep brklzz
Refer to what ltc said.
15 year olds look better with teeth #grooming
^ This, Full set of teeth >> Hipster points for brakelezz. #Priorities, innit.
Your wish is my command!
No worries, I've already found a pair of suitable forks and currently in the process of acquiring them. Thanks nonetheless.

• #229
Where from, just out of interest?
-
• #230
A guy pmd me with some forks. No Crown race installed might be a problem though
-
• #231
Not a problem at all as not all crown races are the same anyway, just take the one off your old forks.
-
• #232
Ah, did not know this. Thanks, Indra. Hopefully I'll be picking up the forks and cutting them down to the steerer length over the course of the next week.
-
• #233
mudguard eyelets?
-
• #234
Yeah they come with eyelets. (were you asking if they did or questioning why I would buy forks with eyelets?)
-
• #235
Change of plan, decided not going to go for the forks I have posted above due to £££. So I have hunted down the buyer of the forks TM showed me and luckily (for me), he is willing to sell them to me for £30. The Great thing about these are the steerer length is exactly the length I need. £30 forks

Thanks once more TM, wouldn't have found them if it weren't for you.
Apparently have to spread rep first.

-
• #241
Thanks a lot TM, wouldn't have found them if it weren't for you. The little 2mm or so spacer is also none existent too! :) Stem officially slammed.

Looks decent! Alpinas would be better though, ha ha. How is it to ride? Saddle angle looks a little jaunty.

ftfy, it's an absolute dream to ride, steering is smooth and responsive. The saddle angle isn't too bad atm, might have to tweak it once in a while but apart from that, it's all good.
-
• #244
Saddle is pointing well down! If you need to ride like that it might be worth lowering it a little and trying to level it out.
-
• #245
Looks like a really quality everyday bike with the road fork and brake.
Sort the saddle angle though bro. -

Ah seen, yeah I'll sort out asap!

Sort the saddle angle though bro. Thanks Joss, I'll sort out the angle; never realised how bad it was until i took another look at it now. Looks like the saddle itself declined as I rode it. :/

Could be, I know the one on my brooklyn likes to point itself upwards after a while.
-
• #248
lol, saddles having minds of their own. Cheers for the heads-up lads, this will be rectified. Hows the Pendle, Indra?
-
• #249
Lovely, not bollox smashingly stiff like the orlowski but still easily as stiff as the seta, comfy as the Brooklyn.

Brilliant, great to hear you've found your favorite frame so far (?) What are the dimensions of the frame, btw?
