Exposure that promotes the sport/community side of things is always good (usually non-profit partnerships, or public sector).
Exposure that packages up bike polo as a commodity (and sells a lifestyle or product) is sometimes bad. At best you'll only have a limited number of these exposures until the uniqueness slowly becomes widely understood and you've lost the ability to communicate anything meaningful.
Growing the "sport" means finding people to partner with long-term, causing a (slow) reaction with people, extending your network of influence and eventually getting access to funding that secures the future of things.
