Thanks for the tip off about Oldboy. Hadn't heard of it and it looks great.
This mash-up of the old version shown with the new version's trailer soundtrack (sorry ed, don't know of subtitles are available with this} gives a flavor of both films

Thanks to this thread I watched Oldboy last night., It was brilliant but I hadn't bargained on it being so noir. I don't know why.

Jennifer Lawrence is pretty boom in it has to be said!

Watched Her last night. Really liked it. Spike Jonze still has it. Great concept well executed.

Also Amy Adams seems to be even hotter with no make-up on.

Meryl Streep has revealed how she sent her friend Emma Thompson an email expressing her shock over Thompson's exclusion from the Best Actress nominations at the Oscars.
Appearing on the Ellen talkshow in the US, Streep, whose nomination in the category for August: Osage County was relatively unexpected, said:
