  • Hmm, I need to really think about my diet, not because I'm overweight, but because a 6-month old baby now means I don't really have a life after 6pm as it involves her bedtime routine and then spending time with my partner. I feel too selfish indulging in 1-1.5hr runs after work, so I'm going to be running in the mornings at about 6am instead.

Dinner is normally my smallest meal as I don't tend to go to bed on a lot of food, or eat much after exercise. Should I be concentrating on eating certain types/quantities of food in the evening if I am going to be running/swimming early in the morning before breakfast?

I'd carb load at dinner. But thats probably not a good weight loss plan.

Try to be strict with your meals though. Its easy to get distracted by getting the kid(s) correctly fed. Then needing to snack yourself during the next free minute you get.
