  • No, both are fairly new, clean the chainring pretty often and check it for wear. Cog get's changed more often then my underwear, so to speak.

  • Chainline?

  • I like kmc s10 inox

  • Chainline is perfect

  • S10 is a bit meh. Stainless is ok I think (never ridden one) but I'd rather go for the lighter versions. K710SL, X101 or similar. Need to get my bike a bit lighter as well. And need some better tires. GP4000S are way to big. Probably Rubino Pro in all black. Skinnier then the Conti's.

  • I've never used a chain costing more than 10 euros, never had any problems..

  • Chain isn't somewhere I'd be looking to cut weight on a hhsb.... Unless you have a brake.

  • If the quality of the chain is good it shouldn't matter. Don't need it to be extremely light. Never heard of a K710SL breaking.

Need lighter bars, lighter stem, lighter seatpost clamp, lighter saddle etc etc.

  • ww>>>>>>>>>

  • Also important to look HHSB :P

Ordered a carbon Deda post so I'm looking for the right bars and stem to go with it. Going to paint my headset and seatpost clamp black and order a good seatpost clamp in the near future.

  • dammit.

    ftfy

  • anyone who doesn't answer KMC510HX to the perfect brakeless chain is lying

  • Used the KMC Z510HX for years and no problems yet, don't see why anyone would spend lots of cash on any other chain

  • Cos this is the HHSB thread.

While I agree that you don't have to spend £$€¥ to get an excellent chain, nothing is more salve than throwing extra money at pricier parts.

FWIW I swear by the KMC K710 (not SL).

  • Like that. Nice wishbone too

  • frame is very nice. like the silver/silver sesamo too
needs decent cranks tho, and matching wheels wouldn't go amiss, in fact build is really not doing the frame justice!

  • Drop TT lopros are fucking cool!

  • Apologies for rising to this bullshit but here goes...

What is this Crap doing here?

if you have to ask, you'll never know.

Wrong. Clearly the frame is in the right place but the rest is shit.

    • Dble-spok on NJS frame?
    • Rad skillz?
    • Shoes that match TT-pad?
    • Blue 75s & dbl straps?

I suspect it very much belongs here.

  • Every chain that isn't an Izumi Super Tough is a poor mans Izumi Super Tough.

Years and years of life if well maintained, solid as a rock and hip as hell

  • years of life? Have you checked it with a chain wear indicator?

  • years of life? Have you checked it with a chain wear indicator?

    Pffffttttt....

  • classic hhsb setup.

  • Not 100% on the build, but hard to deny Chub laced to 90mm crabon (the poor spokes!), the Rotor/DA combo and a Hed 3 up front.

    Everything above the top tube can > > > > > >

  • ^this build shows you're never too bling for a rando
