Tell us about your weekend ride

I had a really bullshit/slow ride with slow fucking people.

Human beings are overrated I dont think I want to ride with them. There is nothing more frustrating than riding at a slower pace than your ability over distance/elevation.

What did it earn me? I labelled it a 'social ride' and other people I rode with really appreciated the efforts and the ride. and £30 including tickets.

Not pleased; would not do again.

I'm guessing you didn't like the company. Any ride, no matter how slow, is worth it if you like the company. If you don't, you'll probably spend all the time trying to get away from them.
