Basic jersey laws: No current pro teams, no championship jerseys, no national team jerseys, no club jerseys unless you currently ride for them, no leadership (yellow/polka etc) jerseys. In short: nothing you haven't earned!
Defunct pro team jerseys are fine, preferably in wool, as are forrin amateur teams. 'Novelty' jerseys should be viewed with the same contempt as 'novelty' ties. Lycra should come with a weight limit. skinsuits are frowned upon unless you're actually racing at the time.
This is the law, transgressions are punishable by ridicule.
