I went for a ride and got lost.
Found my way home before nightfall though. I suppose trying to memorise a route on unknown roads sans sat-nav or map is dumb then.

Not a weekend ride, but just did an Essex loop with xdomx and a few others and got flagged down by a Zico van, who gave us free coconut water.

It was gash, but what a nice gesture!

The strandroad a long the coast north of Copenhagen offers an excellent nightride, with illuminated road and good tarmac.
