Thing is, that's as modern as Hetchins ever got.
They are weird.

Actually I know where there is one exactly like the frame above and it is only 3 years old. In the summer I ride next to it a lot and, though it is very nice it was also very expensive compared to all the lovely and, IMO, better Italian frames that go for a fraction of the price like the Scanabissi that just went for £150 on this site.

from CycleEXIF:
The Magnum Opus Millennium was a commemorative edition, only 15 produced for the year 2000. A Chinese collector acquired this one, who passed it to Serk, a bike shop / bar in Beijing, were it was built it up with a Campagnolo C-Record group, NOS Mavic GP4 rims and a Modolo cockpit.

OK - prob my fault for reading "...acquired this one...." as meaning the following picture which baffled me as it clearly isn't.
My friend had an original Magnum that he bought when he was at high school which got run over by a car (as did he). When he recovered and got his insurance money he went to Hetchins with all of his original receipts and papers from the first one and they agreed to build him an exact replica.

V brake adaptors on modern carbon disc fork?
Pace RC31 innit? Designed to take V-brakes as an option

and less worrying with v brakes. I ran some with discs and it is very disconcerting to see the forks bend back about an inch each time you brake hard.

• #83064
It's a conversion though. Rear hangar? Down tube cable guides?

Pace RC31 innit? Designed to take V-brakes as an option
It was designed to use bolt on mounts?
-
• #83066
Yes, they were sold as an optional extra once the Pace forks got disc caliper mounts. Still available

That I like a lot. Looks ideal for continental touring. Quality and reliability, comfortable and no hesitation in taking an unsaved trail or track.
Glad I hadn't seen it last year when I was buying new as it would have made choosing even harder.
