Anyone knows the average cost of a consultation with vet? I am weighting up options on weather to take her to Celia Hammond which would be cheaper but taxi back and forth would cost me £33, my local private vet is 1 train stop away...
Really should get insurance... Any recommendation, anyone? I was looking at it last night and a lot of companies now want not only the excess amount which is anywhere up to about £100 but also 10% of the total vet bill. So if the total is £300, you would have to pay the excess plus + £30. This seems a bit odd...
