my sister is currently "fostering" a friend's cat. it has been so good for her.
the cat is super patient but must be quite a change to go from living with a family with young kids, to my sister who lives alone and works long hours and spends days away from the house. he (the cat) seems happy though. they have gone abroad for minimum 2 years, maybe forever.
