Thanks also, goonz - another vote for the classic (although mostly based on the look, right?)
Pretty much as i have only experience of the city jacket.
My advice, keep both!

ha! I could sell advertising space under the city wind jacket to recoup the cost...

Rapha crash repair service? Fantastic.
I sent off a pair of winter gloves and knee warmers for repair, it took about four weeks in total and they were returned today as good as new - you can't tell they've been repaired at all.

Did you have to provide a receipt? I ripped some lew warmers, but bought them up Alpe d'huez and threw the receipt away.
FYi when I sent some bibs to ASSOS. I had them back in under 5W.D. ;)

I've now used my Turkish eBay PTJ (for the record, 5-6degC, light rain, winter merino base layer, very comfy) and if it's not genuine (which I'm pretty sure it is) then it's as close to the real thing as makes no difference. And it now has a big skunk stripe up the back, because I accidentally broke the end of my rear RoadRacer mudguard off at the weekend.

So Rapha. They'll probably want to do an advertorial feature on it.

Just got the long sleeve polo, very nice indeed. Recommended.

Quite the opposite.
It was colder than I expected up there so was i suckered into buying some. They were ripped while descending the col du Madeleine in the rain, having climbing it a 2nd time, for laugh. But more rapha that.

The one good thing is there are now team sky pro mitts and also classic mitts rather than just the not so good gt mitts. Hopefully means they will release unbranded versions soon too! Been waiting a long time for these.

I didn't provide a receipt but both items had been bought from their own website so I just went through the returns procedure.
Five days would be nice but I'm pretty happy with the turnaround time especially considering it was over Christmas.

So the Turkish Pro Team Bib Shorts are fake, kind of. They do appear to have the right Cytech pad. The leg grippers are the old style from 2011 when they first came out. I'd bet my bike they don't have Coolblack™ treatment.
Now I have a dilemma. They fit really well, and the pad is the real deal, but they're a bit shonky...
Edit:
So I've compared these to a friend's PTBs and they are actually legit.

• #15391
the pro team jacket was in the old nodder colour-way too
suspect they're legit last season's seconds

Hmmm, my Turkish Pro Team shorts have a care label. Pretty sure they do, anyway. I'll check...

Okay thannks!!

£50 for some gloves though?

The Turkish PT bibs do actually have a care label, my mistake. It's just not in the same style as the classic bibs I have.

Hello folks,
I wanted something bright to be seen on my bike. Wanted a jersey rather than a gilet, so I bought one of these
Er it certainly does what it says on the tin....
It's proper flouro rave, will look the biz underneath my Mapei jersey - Rave on....
Give thanks,

Apparel- ently that's what Rapha's all about

Broke the zip on my lightweight jersey at the weekend, anyone had any luck getting them to repair it? I know they say they don't on the repair service page of the site.
-
• #15399
Zips are too hard to repair as it means a new zip which means taking both of the front two jersey panels apart.

Does anyone know if they have merino hats in store?
Are there any decent alternatives?
That's the key question, I think. It's literally porous under the pits and back, thanks to some laser cutting. Both are a nylon weave - Classic is a slightly heavier denier.
Thanks also, goonz - another vote for the classic (although mostly based on the look, right?)
