Lights

Any recommendations for commuting/city use lights? A few simple requirements:

• Fit with rubber/silicon band so can be used on various bikes without faffing
  -reasonably small
  
• bright, but not retina-burningly so
  -waterproof enough for London
  
• good (or at least predictable) battery/charge life
  
• side visibility
  
• don't turn on in your sodding bag
  
• reasonably robust
  -not cateye as they've failed me on several of the above
