Thanks. I thought people have been talking about SKS Chromoplastic, which are not quite a round section and have bracket eye things already riveted into the guards. I guess those guards came without any pre-fitted bracket eye things?
Just bend a piece of aluminum over the bridge, mark and drill holes on either end of it and through the fender where it lines up and hey presto.
There are also a variety of ready-made options that are easy to install after drilling holes in the fender.
I think the langster owner said there was no chainstay bridge at all. If I were them I would drill some small holes at the corners of the end of the guards and attach them to the stays with cable ties, or try to make a p-clip fit around the seat tube and attach to the holes where the normal chainstay clip fits.
