Wind crossing London Bridge last night was horrendous. For a moment I thought I could stop for the light without braking.
I thought I might cycle home without pedaling yesterday evening.

Wall of water as soon as I got 200m from the office. It weaned off for 5 minutes to only buckets-levels, then repeated about 15 more times all the way home.
Had a bath so I'm tidy now. -

I love a little ice in the morning. There is a stretch of country road which is always a bit colder than anywhere else so I'm always cautious, but not cautious enough it seems. Laid the bike down and watched it skate off into the darkness, reflecting on the fact that I don't usually get to see it with the lights on and how much like a Christmas tree it looked with the blue and green indicator lights on the back of the Magicshines. Stood up and went to pick it up and straight back down on my arse which made me laugh all the more.
Didn't expect that the roads through Chertsey would still be flooded and closed off which meant that I got my toes wet and they were a bit nippy for the rest of the way in.

Can we please have a terminal disease that strikes impatient pushy motorists in heavy rain on dark winter mornings?
