  • Wind crossing London Bridge last night was horrendous. For a moment I thought I could stop for the light without braking.

  • Bit warm.

I thought I might cycle home without pedaling yesterday evening.

  • Monsoon in Brixton... Thought it had stopped but it's just very, very heavy rain right now...

  • Last 1.5 miles of my journey home and the heavens opened and I was soaked right through.

  • i'm sick of summer. when's winter get here?

  • The jacket I wore yesterday was soaking wet still (sweat not rain) so today t-shirt and shorty gloves. So much nicer once up to speed. Temp was 14 when I left.

  • balmy

  • Yep. I could water the sahara.. might be a bit salty though.

  • Enjoy the sun everyone!

  • Just been a huge dumping of rain in N1. Biblical.

  • Yep. What the fuck was that? Think I heard a thunder too. Made it home before it all kicked off. Winning.

  • Massive thunder here in se24

Watching it come down from my office.

    Balls.

  • Big lightning flash in SW1 a minute ago. Glad I'm home too

  • Got in the door and it immediately started absolutely pissing it down, must have fairies looking after me today.

  • soaked.

    fuckbuckets.

  • That was a lovely ride home.

  • My advice: NEVER leave the house...

  • Wall of water as soon as I got 200m from the office. It weaned off for 5 minutes to only buckets-levels, then repeated about 15 more times all the way home.
Had a bath so I'm tidy now.

  • I love a little ice in the morning. There is a stretch of country road which is always a bit colder than anywhere else so I'm always cautious, but not cautious enough it seems. Laid the bike down and watched it skate off into the darkness, reflecting on the fact that I don't usually get to see it with the lights on and how much like a Christmas tree it looked with the blue and green indicator lights on the back of the Magicshines. Stood up and went to pick it up and straight back down on my arse which made me laugh all the more.

Didn't expect that the roads through Chertsey would still be flooded and closed off which meant that I got my toes wet and they were a bit nippy for the rest of the way in.

That was me leaving the office early to beat the storm. Of course it dumped everything it had straight in my face. Thunder, lightning, hail, torrential rain. #brakless

  • All you part timers. Rain had stopped by the time I left the office, was a lovely ride home.

  • Can we please have a terminal disease that strikes impatient pushy motorists in heavy rain on dark winter mornings?
