Not measured the post. Its a Thomson, 2nd hand, claimed to have been fitted once then removed. Looks to be the case. If it is as new as looks, is manufacture error a realistic possibility?
Tightened to a torque I wouldnt get any movement at with traditional clamp and the post can be rotated failr easily. Without assurances something isnt wrong I'm reluctant to tighten further.
The 25 is oval walled, nothing like as thin as a Thomson Masterpiece 31.6 I've seen, I'll get a photo up shortly. Can I expect the 25.4 to be the same?
