  • Got a carbon frame with Aluminium lugs (LOOK KG231). The seat tube diameter should be 25.0 but measures 25.1 at the top of the tube.
    When inserting a 25.0 post there is a visible gap. Would a Nitto shim or brass sheeting as suitable for bars be suitbale for a post?
    The tube 'feels' loose the whole way down. Ifff the diameter is 25.1 the whole way down, not just at the lip, then would there be any issues shimming at top only? With carbon tubing? Surely it is not likely to be 25.1 the whole way down...?
