Amazing finish on the orłowski, especially those fillets.
I think this one just convinced me to order my next frame from him. -

Does anyone know where you can buy these tyres in the UK? Unfortunately there is a UK based trike shop called Fairwheel that is duping all of my Google technique.
28c look almost identical to the Grand Bois Hetres (same factory).

They're made by Panaracer (you can see it stamped on the blue CX tyres). Pretty sure you can only get them from Blue Lug in Japan. http://fairweather.cc/tire http://fairweather.cc/traveler
EDIT: Send them an email, you might be able to get some shipped to the UK. letter@fairweather.cc

I'm considering a pompetamine for commuting and light off road use in sscx guise and am a little confused about wheel options - they'd need to work with disc brakes and (in line with the rest of the build) be good value. Probably will run 28mm tires.
Any recommendations on wheels and other potential bits and pieces for the build would be appreciated - I just about know my way around a roadie but I am a total newb when it comes to anything with one gear!
Thanks

any factory 29er wheels will be perfect with 28mm tyres.

I like this guy, deep section so pretty serious, but not quite serious enough to remove the child seat mount from the seat tube.

A pretty correct assumption.
He was also racing wearing a keirin jersey.. -

This bike made me stop lurking. Wow, really nice bike. Could you you give some more info on it? Price, components, spec of the frame? It would be much appreciated.

the frame is fillet brazed zona, made by jacek orlowski in poland. The frame was 750e incl. shipping to finland.
The wheelset was a cheap kind of temporary solution I found from our finnish fixie forums, they are syncros dt revo wtb laser lite. The brakes are hayes cx-5. Other components are pretty easily recognizable I think. Thomson and stuff.
the frame fits 45mm tyres, dunno about the weight as forgot to measure. Ill check it when it is fininshed in a few months! Still got to fix some things like cable routing and steerer height.
I sprung a leak :)
