  • I got a Lezyne Deca drive for christmas, it's powerful piece of kit, if a bit chunky. The main drawback, as highlighted in pretty much every review of it, is the bar clamp which will work itself loose over a few hours of road riding. Also, the light can swivel from side to side when attached, which is a useful (though now pretty standard) feature, but doing so gradually loosens the thumb screw of the clamp. This is with the supposedly 'better' metal clamp that comes with the loaded version, so I'd hate to think what the plastic one is like.

    The light itself is pretty damn good, the high setting is overkill for any of the road riding that I've done with it, but would probably be pretty good for mountain biking. It's about half the price of the equivalent powered exposure light (probably the Strada or Race) which isn't insignificant...
