I think the point that you (and James) miss in all this, is that you achieve nothing in pointing out the issues surrounding brakeless riding using the tone that you do. The OP seems pretty set on losing his front break, and I would say his choice has been cemented by a couple of quality posts telling him that he is a dick.

If you really care and want to change other's behaviour, learn a lesson and encourage people to see your point of view rather than attack them.
