Surprised this one lasted so long, you can see The Shard most places.

I'm rubbish at clues but it isn't far away. It must have been open agricultural land not too long ago. Lots of defensive undergrads next door now.

I feel like a bit of a Leman for killing the game. Might go and hide round the back.

That's actually quite a good clue.

It doesn't cease to baffle me how many tag-worthy places there are in London. It feels as if we'll never run out of them.

Wapping Old Stairs is, sadly, a repost.

But given that we're back on table tennis, I suppose it hardly matters.

I think that is a different set of stairs, these are next to the Captain Kidd.

Good spot diamond! Same steps.
(first time apple maps has been useful. But I sense it might help with the "not on streetview" tags.)

Don't think there are stairs by the Kidd, and the sign seems to suggest the Town of Ramsgate pub..

It's definitely a retag. I didn't spot it, either, because the pictures are so different. Has anyone been able to keep the map up-to-date? My lame excuse is that I don't want a Google account (necessary for editing). What do we do with a retag? Do we go back to ...
New:
A new garden but locked for residents use only. It really saddens to see green space in a city locked up and hardly used.... or pass over it?
Conveniently, in this case it doesn't matter, because Polka Dot tagged Leman Street (was tagzumped) ...
... and has also set the new tag, so we could just carry on with ...
Here's the one I took the other day:
It's water under the bridge now.... and erase the excursion into retagging from BToB memory. :)

If the choice is between another ping pong table tag, and a free for all at leman street, I know what i'd choose.
but yeah 'tevs ennit

Ping pong thing worse than the run of distant churches.
-
• #13821
I vote we carry on with the game, ban ping-pong tables, and resolve to improve the map.
I've also not had any luck in trying to update the map, which is creaking with the weight of old tags. I've wondered whether it ought to be somehow split into a few maps - perhaps 100 tags on each?

i have the day off. I can either spend it trying to find the ping pong table or updating the map. i will try the latter...
-
• #13823
I still find the ping-pong thing funny. Simple solution if you don't want table tennis tables; get to the tags before Polka Dot does.

I just sat down to give it a go, and realised i have NO IDEA how to add anything to the map. I added a point but cant edit the format for it or anything. HOWWW?!
I had a decent tag to follow this. But I wanted to get home to be with my lad instead.
