I read the book first too, the film does a pretty good job, and the female lead is the same as in the Richard Curtis time travelling one, Rachel McAdams. She was also Irene Adler in the shit Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes.

  • enjoyed American Hustle last night.

    Back on topic:
The Wolf of Wall Street is definitely worth a look. Scorsese is back on form and it's got one of the funniest drug scenes to ever hit the big screen.

  • Cant wait for Wolf of Wall Street, trailer looks awesome.

  • ^ reviews aren't kind though - it kinda does look like we've seen it all before

  • Meh ill watch it anyway.

  • 12 Years a slave, although Im already a massive steve mcqueen fan. I was blown away at how powerful and well made a film this is, unreal. So people will find it a tough watch tho!

  • it was a bit torture porn-y.
