I think more brands should follow Shimano's RT range of footwear. These are the 'road touring' shoe which takes SPD, looks like a road shoe but has tread to prevent the cleat hitting the floor. Best thing is the tread is solid rubber rather than studs so dont look like MTB shoes.
Really want a Mavic bright yellow shoe like this or a Sidi shoe in bright white.
