Have been doing some reading and learning more about functions / features of the 1000d and made some basic setting changes - wanted to sense check here to see what folks think:
Set to Adobe RGB rather than sRGB (can later save to sRGB on laptop but not other way round?)
Switched on High ISO noise reduction (is it worth switching off on bright days, as it operates at all ISO despite the functions name)
Disabled Auto Lighting Optimizer (preferring to get the camera taking pictures as I see them, rather than what it thinks I want to see)
Using Custom White Balance before shooting indoors (set via shooting white A4 in the).
Any thoughts/owt I've overlooked?
