For those of you who have been following Operation "She's Not Our Cat... Right?"
We took the little 5 month old stray (from the crawl space under our flat) to be spayed today... and microchipped... and inoculated... and flead... and wormed... and I bought a microchip catflap for the bottom door... and a normal one for the top... and a cat carrier... and a cat bed with a little roof because she likes to feel safe as she was a street cat and hid in a hole.
She's our cat now. She's looking really shaky after her op. Currently hiding under the bed and worryingly she was eating some food a while ago, let out a yelp and backed off - I mean reversed like a slow van - away from the dish. Whatever happened it hurt!
Hope she heals up quick because Mrs Wrongcog is already an emotional wreck and I'm quite taken by her.
Her name is Pocket (Mrs W didn't go for Yauch which is a bummer).
