^^I dunno about that, I've looked directly into both and they seemed the same, that's science right there. The forum was probably one of those torch junkie ones, I'd guess if they have the same LED in then they are more or less the same unless one is using the batteries faster, which might not be a good thing, the PX one is plenty bright anyway.
