I didn't see the girls walking past until after the incident.
We had just left the pub, one friend on a bike in front, a couple in behind. Was pulling a skid with my weight quite far forward. About half way through I realised I wasn't going to stop in time and grabbed a handful of front brake. The front let go, my ribs landed on the stem and I did a roly-poly, landed on the ground and then caught my bike that was just about to land on me and cause further injury.
Mate asks 'what was that?', girls looked shocked. Reply 'sweet skid', and try to ride off as nonchalantly as possible.
Woops.
