Me.. not once but twice.
Was taking a leisurely sunday ride with the club to try and get some confidence back.
Enjoyable morning in the crisp winters air soon turned sour when the descending a north facing incline on pilgrims way I noticed too late the frost had turned into sheet ice.
Then hit the deck again along beech farm road going back to west wickerham.
My ribs took most the impact, hope they aren't anything more than bruised.
Using my Tramadol prescription for its medical purpose for a change.
New helmet I got for christmas is scratched.
I'm really not enjoying this cycling lark at the moment.
Watchout for ice.. the road temp is well below freezing.
