Do you have lenses for both Nikon and Canon??

Bloody hell, is that how much D3's are going for these days! That's my point you see, certain prices for what the camera can do don't make sense, or am I making too much of a fuss about specifics?

Nah, don't have lenses for Canon. I only use one lens for any period of time (35mm 1.8), so body price is of more importance for me.

I have a Pentax, I'm not a pro or even a semi pro so I don't have any need for a pro or semi pro camera, just something that's not annoying to carry and won't break easy. Plus I like their lenses (this is the main thing).

I like their real world prices you see, and I've been using Pentax since K1000 (favourite film is the Program-A), so I WANT to like them, but....I want this to last. The d200 has been indestructible. I even dropped it out of a moving car and down a snow slope. I seek that same AK-47 style ruggedness.
