FYI
in post-soviet countries, Christmas is orthodox style, meaning 7th of January. additionally, New Year's day is a big holiday as well, so in essence, break period shifts week forward comparing to that in UK or Europe.
what i'm trying to say is that Russia is officially off 1st to 9th of January, and if you're a freelance fixie skidder frame builder you may as well slow your activities down by 31st December and not completely sober up until as late as 13th or 14th January. something to consider, although it's not like there's any real action you can undertake to make them refund tomorrow or something.
let us know what you're thinking to do in the end.
