thanks for your all your messages up until now, sorry for the thread hijacking. at the moment i'm not sure what the best course of action on my part is. since i first posted about the incident here yesterday ingria have asked me how i would ideally solve the problem but when i asked them for a refund they went quiet.
twice now.
i think some money back would be fair. maybe 50% since they've had costs as well.
thing is, if i knew how shitty the welds were going to be i probably wouldnt have ordered one in the first place but the photos on their website always obfuscate the critical parts of the frames quality.
i know they have photos of "the process" as well but they mostly show the welds before they are being smoothened out so you still dont really know what youll get in the end.
the question is if they are intentionally hiding the shitty welds in their official photos or not, in which case it would be quite the deception.
since they've always been polite in their emails, i don't have evidence to call it fraud or fraudlike. i don't wanna just assume anything yet.
Full refund. It doesn't matter about their costs. The frame is inadequate, probably not fit for purpose and not as described/pictured. They should not be allowed to get away with such shoddy work. 50% is not enough.
I personally would demand a full refund or say you are going to send the photos around the whole cocking interweb world.
