It could, I pushed it to the edge to get the straightest line with the largest text. If requirements start getting too complex, it pushes up the price and increases the number of possible ways for it to go wrong, which is another reason to use one template for all of them.
Just so you know how the economics work, for a batch of 60 the cost of making, engraving, anodising, packing and shipping one cap is £10.26, with no allowance for my time carrying the stuff from place to place or fixing errors. Out of 120 made in the last batch, 11 blanks were lost to a mix of engraving errors, anodising errors and production of samples. It's not quite as tight as when I did the forum group buy of Hirame Yoko pump heads and made exactly 1p on total transactions of over £500, but it's close :-)
