Great idea on the webcam and feeder, gotta try that.
Strays are such easy maintenance. When we lived in a house, the cost of feeding them was near enough £0. They hunted daily and were stupidly healthy. Vet visits were a breeze too. They always commented on how fit they were.
Alas, now they're indoors and too used to cat food. Some even shun meat when offered!
