My neighbour's cat was having a fight with the new ginger tom cat in town at 2am this morning right outside my bedroom window. I ran outside to chase the ginger tom away in my dressing gown like some crazy cat goblin.

Pierre is home! He's lost a good bit of weight so I'm assuming he was trapped somewhere and my leaflets prompted someone to check their shed or garage.
YUSSSS! Really glad. Pierre sounds like a champ. Glad you've got him back.
been thinking about a laser pointer forher hingness for Chirstmas and foudn this article. Thoughts?
Get one. Of the never ending list of toys/platforms/designedbydogowners/flyingthings/lint we've ever bought for them. The cheap eBay laser and string on a stick are still the most successful after all these years.
Basically, lasers are awesome and cats fucking love them. -

Christmas presents for her highness. I am sure I have just flushed a big chuck of money down the loo. Coz she will only ever like her ping pong balls...

Right I'm joining this thread albeit temporarily. We live in a Maisonette in Leyton with a little garden. Three days ago I noticed a little kitteny thing in the garden and when it simply didn't fek off I went down for a chat. She (for it is a she) dashed through a broken air vent into a crawl space under the house. I invited her out and checked her over. Skinny but not emaciated, clean but very needy and super affectionate. No collar. We gave her some beef to munch on and kept an eye out.
Turns out she's living in that crawl space. I've no clue how long she's been there. Every time I go outside she appears at the mouth of her little cave and I give her some food. She then just sits on my lap or my shoulder and hangs out for a bit til I fight the urge to bring her in and extricate myself.
Have postered the area and took her to the vets today. No microchip. Cat's Protection won't get involved for 2 weeks and the vets have offered to spay her. Since I'd need to take her in to recoup I'm holding off until we get back from Chrimbo. Hope she's ok in our absence! We don't own a cat and never have. Don't think we can really afford to either. So now we just have to try really hard not to fall in love with her - which is impossible as she's an absolute frikkin heartbreaker!

aww, I hope she is ok over christmas! I don't think it will be too cold, but it'll be hard to find food :(
My Tom cat would have turned MUCH earlier than that, vicious little swine that he is!
