I doubt he had the money to dope heavily, a course or two of EPO maybe but I doubt he did much more than that (assuming he is guilty).
I definitely agree that Sky should have done more homework, but I think Brailsford has already acknowledged that publicly. From what I've heard, Nathan Earle has been tested repeatedly to ensure they had a longer view of his stats and to give them confidence he's clean.
It's sad in a way, as some people I know and respect have been burnt by this, but this is pro cycling so it is hardly a surprise.
