As I said, all the time. I spend about as much time off the hoods on my road bike as I spend off the tribars on my TT bike.

The new Shimano have similar reach adjustment as SRAM instead of the stupid shim.

I use Sram as I prefer the hood shape and don't like the wobbly levers with Shimano. Shim also feels like you have to move the paddles more before anything happens. That and it's ugly.

The wheels made the journey very fast as they are wide rim technology and very efficient at the majority of yaw angles. My road has lots of yaw angles blowing about it.
