Damn, that reminds me of the time a delivery truck lift failed and dropped a pallet of Koppaberg as we looked on. Half the street was drunk on the fumes alone.

Yeah, fizzy drink. My granny used to refer to it as pop, it's got a certain charm as a word and I'm now considering adopting it.
When I lived in Scotland it was, somewhat tellingly, refereed to as "juice".

2 punctures in 2 days on duranos? Did you fit them inside out or something?

They are definitely not wet weather tyres. Very thin and cut up way too easily. changing all my stable across to GP4 Seasons immediately.
Do Schwalbe even tyres?

Durano Plus are great, heavy but unkillable. Never tried the normal Duranos but will avoid in future.

I think I had Durano S which are very lightweight and were fine in the dry but the wet has just seen them dissolve and die!
Pop sadly. They had to turn off the escalator so for a little while we were stuck in there. Had it been alcohol I'd have found the drinking straws and started an impromptu boatrace
