London League VI Fixture Chat

Hey Staniland, I am trying to set a standard here so we can have the first London league ever that has had full reffing and stats taken for every game. This requires that everyone pitch in and help. There have been league games played before in previous seasons with no refs. We have never had a season with stats taken for every game. And in six years of leagues I don't have a memory of you reffing ever. So why don't you shut the fuck up and show up to ref sometime?

So basically we need every single player to lead ref one game, take time/stats one game, and goal ref three games. If you don't feel comfortable lead reffing then do an extra game stats keeping or goal reffing. Thanks!

We're not even half way through the league yet

And many of the games have been lead reffed be a small number of people. Your team has had three games reffed and I haven't seen any of your team member ref a single game. Actions, not words.

Fact is, the volunteer system has not worked in the past: some games have not had refs, and we've never successfully taken stats. So I'm trying to up the expectations and peer pressure. You are whining.

And I stand by my threat: if the non-LDN players can't do their part, then we should not let them in the league next year.

Instead of equivocating, why don't you tell us how many games you have lead reffed in six years of leagues? And you must be missing sleep if you could have misinterpreted the tone of that sentence.

I can't remember how many games i've reffed over the last 6 years, I don't expect many can. I can see this dragging on and on. You don't strike me as the kind of man to back down, weather right or wrong so I think I'll just leave this conversation.
