Came past this today. Middle of nowhere!! Would not have notice if it wern't for the Dowsett hype.
It's a very good cyclist stop. I don't normally stop there as it's too close to home for me but I was late out yesterday and very hungry.
Alex Dowsett would have gone there when he was riding with the Maldon or Glendene - it's about 2-3 hours into a ride for them so ideal to stop at. He certainly stops there on his winter rides, sometimes with Mark Cavendish, Russell Hampton etc.
The cafe is very accommodating for cyclists, food is very good but a bit pricey.
