Question for designers out there - which font would most resemble that used in a dictionary definition?
Times New Roman would do the job (unless you were really trying to reproduce the typography of a specific dictionary), with the added benefit of it being free and already installed on pretty much every computer.
If you want options you could look at other 'old-style' romans like Baskerville, Bell, or Caslon.
