What I liked about the carbon Record is that you can comfortably wrap your hand round it due to the lack of shifter, it's a lots skinner than the SRAM one which felt massive.
The SCR-5 hood is massive compare to the Record, but have excellent modulation as it doesn't flex (especially with disc brakes) compare to the SRAM one.
