Cheers both. She didn't actually hit me and I'm uninjured except for a small graze on my knee so there wouldn't really be much of a PI case, luckily or unluckily depending on your viewpoint.
I think I'm finally going to complain to teh council about that fucking road, though, it's a nightmare. The way the defect sits in the road makes it difficult to stay in primary because it moves from the middle of the road inwards, so at some point you've got to ride over it and hope you don't hit it at an awkward angle. The stepped curb on that side road is just hideous as well - I used to wonder why so many cyclists would hop up on the pavement over the dropped curb a few yards back and then rejoin Lyham Road from there, but on reflection it's probably because if you took the turn legally you end up hitting that raised concrete and they don't want to risk coming off.
