Had my bianchi pinched a couple days ago in Hulme - cutters at 8 in the morning and no one noticed a thing - what's the magic word to get the police to actually try and help? - if you spot anyone on a white pista with red trimming having the time of their life give us a shout!! - It survived a collision on curry mile and everything!

Friend has had a lime green cotic nicked from the Chorlton area. They left a stack of road bikes behind luckily. If you see one being ridden suspicously (possibly by someone also carrying 3 macs) could you give me a shout. Longshot i know.

The shed was raided last night (they took the roof off) and they got my winter commuter and my partner's Trek (blue, small with an adjustable stem and white rack).

This poorly locked up Cannondale Lefty was stolen from ouside my work on the Science Park on Friday.

If anyone spots one for sale or anything then let me know.

It belongs to my boss, and despite his piss poor bike locking skills he's a decent bloke so would be nice to get it back for him.

As well as looking out for them being sold on, might be worth getting some bearings and superglue if you lock up outside regularly.

A friend of mine's sister has had her bike stolen in Manchester:

Eleni Papadopoulos is an amazing young woman who's studying at Manchester University. She's also a Paralympian Swimmer and Triathlete training for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Last night her specially adapted bike was stolen from outside the Manchester Aquatics Centre.
Eleni has Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and nerve damage and as a result of her disabilities in not permitted to drive, therefore her bike is her main form of transports and with a 30 hour training schedule per week balancing alongside what is supposed to be balancing with her studies - her bike is key to helping her balance doing all this.
She only left the bike at 1930 (double locked to bike rack outside main entrance to MAC), because she was borderline about to have an epileptic fit (and is not supposed to cycle in this state). She arrived back at 4:15am this morning for training and it was gone.
Eleni is devastated. The bike is worth £1500 has been adapted with extra brakes that are positioned to help accommodate her disabilities. It is a white and silver Scott Speedster size extra small / 49 inch frame. It has her name on the top bar of the frame (Eleni Papadopoulos).

Not sure if the fine people of Manchester will be able to help, but I'm sure we'll try our best.

A colleague had his Thorn tourer stolen last Friday, 26th Sep, from outside Sandbar...it's black, 26inch wheels, racks front and rear, and bar end shifters so it's only going to get bought by someone who knows what it is....which makes it even more frustrating. Anyway, if anyone hears of one knocking around, for sale at a silly price, then please get in touch, cheers.
