unless in my case where the double sided sticky pads failed and the numberplate found a new home in the gutter somewhere between greenwich and leytonstone.
black and silver pressed plates are reasonably priced on the bay. £12 including postage
my understanding on the plate colours were that if the plate was cherished/ageless/dateless call it what you will, then it wouldnt matter. one thing i do know is you can't transfer a registration plate with a year letter to an older car that would make it look younger than it really is.
