I am sure some of you are students of the University of London, but I don't know how many of you might have been to any of these protests or meetings prior to each event. I was dragged into a meeting the night before the strikes on 3 Dec. Despite both being a student and a staff of 2 different universities, my one and only thought was I don't want to get involved. There are clearly trouble makers who just want to cause troubles rather than having peaceful protest / strikes etc. Now seeing messages flooded from peers on my FB page, my thought is confirmed... It's sad time, but surely there are better ways to deal with these issues than kicking and punching?
